As the first Grivance chair of the Ventura County Community College District faculty union David's legacy is unmatched. Thorugh his negotiation skills, his knowledge of the contract, his sense of humor and his charisma,David saved many faculty jobs. His ability to defend those who were victims acts of injustice is a memory of David that I will preserve always.

David was a wonderful neighbor and friend. He was always there with a smile and his flowers decorated our house on many occasions. He was always there to offer any assistance and it was nice to see how much he cared for my parents and would visit them just to make sure they were okay. He will be missed. Peace be with Robles family. God Bless you.

He had incredible command and confidence and you could feel the strength of his commitment to civil justice. He had recently returned from Vietnam and he showed great maturity from that experience. David was always a man of justice, fairness and deeply spiritual. He was a great positive influence on so many. You...
