Not sure what to say?

Dear Louise, I have many treasured memories of my time with you and David at Greer First. I will never forget all the guidance and counseling about seminary. David was a wonderful teacher of God's Word, He not only taught it, he lived it! You, Caleb, Kate and the rest your family are in my thoughts and prayers! Sincerely, Julia Hemphill

We are the parents of Dave Gilbert, Class of 77 and classmate of Dave. We were shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. We met him several times while at The Citadel. A fine young man. Howard & Beryl Gilbert

To the Family of Mr. David Rogers, I extend my deepest sympathy for your tragic loss. He was a leader of the Greenville County Library System Board of Trustees during a time where leadership was demanded. Mr. Rogers rose to and exceeded that challenge. All the while, the public saw a loving and cheerful man of exceptional talents. My heartfelt sympathy to you and all of his many friends and colleagues.

The David Rogers Family, I offer my deepest sympathy to the entire family and all his friends who knew the life and works of this Man, especially His years on the Board of Trustees of the Greenville County Library System and the building of The Smith Branch of the Greenville County Library in Greer and his support to the employees as a Board Member and a friend to all aspects of their jobs. An all around 'Good Person' and selfless servant to all.

Dear Louise,
My heart has been heavy since receiving the news from Page this week. I'm sorry I could not be there for the service. You and your family are in my thoughts and memories daily, with love,

Dearest Louise and family, Kimberly Hibbs sent me an email today about David's homegoing. I was saddened for you all so very much. I know that you have assurance of his being with Our Savior. Please know that you will all be in my prayers. Much love, Beth McDonald Quarterman (Charleston, SC) (formerly Beth Atkinson of Greer)

To Louise, Caleb, Paige, and Kate,
You had a great husband and father. Though I had only met David a few times and had last seen him at Cole's wedding, he made an impression on me. I will keep you in my prayers in the coming days. God Bless! Lynn

Dear Rogers Family,
Where my words fail, love remains.

I just heard the news today and have a heavy heart for the loss your family has suffered. My deepest sympathy to you all...........Starbucks visits will never be the same without David.
