Miss talking to you Dave

I think of Dave so often. He was my history buddy and was such a good story teller . I sure miss talking to him.

I was so surprised to hear of Dave's passing. Sending prayers to his friends and family.
It was always a pleasure to have him speak at the Bay County Genealogical Meetings. He will be missed by those that he shared histories and stories of Bay County with.
Again we offer our prayers to his family.

I'll miss Dave's stories about Bay City . I learned so much from him. He will be missed .

Dave was and had been so much to the Walker Family. Dave was more than a friend...he was like a father and a hero. This man showed unselfishness and didn't have a prejudice bone in his body. He loved us for who we are and cared for us like all of us was his very own and when we made bad judgements or mistakes in our live he still kept giving of himself like a father. Dave is AMAZING! I never got to repay Dave and took him for granted....Im sorry....so sorry that I didn't say, "THANK YOU" or...

Dolores & family,
Linda and I were deeply saddened to hear of Dave's untimely passing. Though we are now away from the area,
our memories of Dave remain in the books he has authored. Please know that you all will be in our thoughts and prayers during this most difficult of time.

You will truly be missed

So sad to hear that Dave had Passed Away. He was always an interesting and fun man to be around. My condolences go out to all of his family, extended family and especially to my friend Dolores who will certainly feel a huge void in her life. - Love and Hugs*

I remember how Dave loved Pine Ridge cemetery & the history of the Birney family. I was able to attend some of the Friends of Pine ridge meetings at Grandpa Tony's. All the knowledge that Dave had about the history in and around Bay City. He will be missed. Sending condolences to your family
