Not sure what to say?

I was there when David was born. We were close growing up, cuz

To Kelley and Kristin, I met your father after I returned home from Vietnam. He was dating your mom. We became brothers very quickly. As we started having childen we became one big family, and raised you kids as one family . As we go through the sorrow and pain of the loss of your father, I will remember that he looked as happy as I have seen him since we lost your mom . I will never take the place of your father and I will never try, but will be there for you always. With all my love, Uncle...

Kelly & Kristin

My wife and I both knew your father and my wife worked with your father at the Post Office. My wife would come home sometimes and tell me of the conversations she had with certain individuals at work and her conversations with your Dad seemed to mean the most to her. Even though I knew your dad, I never did actually work with him. David was a quiet, unassuming person and most of the time you wouldn't even know when he was around unless he would come and approach...

I am sadden to see the passing of your father. It was nice to see his father at the funeral home today.
I also grewup with Dave and think of the times at South and other places we were at.
He was a good person and is now in a better place.
May God speed your loss and keep your family well in theses difficult times.

Kelly and Kristin,
Although the years have passed and we hadn't visited with your father, we are deeply saddened by your loss. A smile and a tear will always come to my face at the mention of either of your parent's names. They were a thoughtful, caring, and kind couple. Good friends are hard to replace. Always know how fortunate you were, to have had the parents you had, they loved you both deeply. Life takes turns that we can never explain. Your life long memories will bring you...

Kelley and Kristen: Words cannot express what I am feeling at this moment. I remember when I first met you guys and your parents. Your Dad was the first to invite me over to "play" with you guys. Of course, we weren't allowed to leave the backyard, but that was David very protective of his little girls. Not only do I miss your Dad but I miss Mary too. I have very many fond memories of Schryver Rd, and the majority of them involve the Rohrer family. Both of you are in my thoughts and...

DEAR KELLY AND KRISTIN,

I'M SO SORRY FOR THE LOSS OF YOUR DAD. DAVID WAS A GOOD AND LONG TIME FRIEND AND I WILL MISS HIM DEARLY. YOUR DAD AND I STARTED PLAYING BASEBALL TOGETHER WHEN WE WERE ABOUT EIGHT YEARS OLD. YOUR GRANDFATHER NEVER MISSED A GAME. PLEASE TELL HIM I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THOSE DAYS PLAYING AT LINCOLN PARK AS BEING SOME OF MY FONDEST MEMORIES. YOUR DAD, WITH JUST A LOOK AND A SMILE, EVEN IF WE HADN'T SEEN EACH OTHER FOR A WHILE, WE ALWAYS KNEW OUR FRIENDSHIP...

Kelly & Kristen,
I am so sorry! This is the saddest stuff that I hate the most. We heard and we just cant beleive it! We will be praying for you!

Dear Kristin and Kelley,
You don't know me, but I grew up next door to your Dad on Woodrow Avenue. We were both only children, so we became each other's sister and brother. Even though we hadn't seen each other for years, we never lost that closeness. I wish I could be there now. All my sympathy, and please give your grandfather a big hug for me.
