We are saddend to hear about your daddys passing. What a wonderful man he was. Our family has such fond memories of both your parents. We were privileged not only to be their neighbors, but also friends.

Your daddy absolutely loved and adored each one of you girls! I loved the stories he told about his daughers. His facial expressions and his voice reflections were priceless! He loved it when you girls would full over him. He was a...

Mrs. Roper,

Mary Jane & Family,

We are very sorry to hear of David's passing. We as a family have enjoyed knowing both of you through the years. May God comfort all of you during this difficult time.

Mr. Roper taught me piano for several years in the 70's. He was a great teacher and an even greater man. I have wonderful memories of him and pray that knowing how many people's lives he touched is a comfort to you. My prayers are with you.

Rest David, until you hear at dawn,
the low, clear reveille of God.

Thank you for your service to this nation.
