Byles Memorial Home - New London Obituary

David Rosario Sr., 82 of Groton, dies Saturday December 28, 2024, at his residence.  David was born April 22, 1942, in Aguas Buenas, Puerto Rico, to Jose Rosario Sr. and Isabel Santiago Rosario. He married Raquel Soto Rosario, she survives him along with his children David Jr. and Bernice. David worked in commercial maintenance for residential housing.


Besides his beloved wife Raquel, he is survived by son David Jr. and his wife Rosa; daughter Bernice Rivera and her husband Jose; grandchildren Giani Kantor, Aisha Osorio, Pearl McGowan, Joshua Rosario, David Rosario III, Sarah Rivera Brown and Joshua Rivera; siblings Longina, Rosamelia, Antonia, Maria and Ramona; and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.


Along with his parents he was preceded in death by sisters Lydia and Miriam; brothers Jose Jr.  and Miquel.


Visitation will be held on Friday January 3, 2025, from 1:00pm to 2:00pm with a funeral service commencing at 2:00pm at Byles Memorial Home, 99 Huntington Street in New London.
