I just found out about Dave and I am very grieved and so sad with you on your loss. He had a beautiful sprit, and I’ll never forget how much he helped me during a difficult time in my journey.

David and I became close friends in Charlotte over the course of perhaps a year, then went our separate ways. It was a breathtaking shock to hear about the passing of someone who continually displayed such a positive, chin-up attitude -- someone who truly knew how lucky he was to be alive.

I will remember his confiding friendship ... his generosity ... his curiosity ... his passionate and compulsive nature ... his penchant...

I hope you remember me, Im Kristen Sadowski...We had a Thanksgiving dinner together here in Charlotte a few years back. I just found out today about David from Janneke. I was shocked!!!! Never expected to hear this sad news! David was an amazing and interesting guy. He always had a story to tell and though our families drifted, I will never forget the times we spent together. He was a very loving guy and I know he will be missed by...
