Dear Carl, Marie, Therese and family.... Joan just called and told us about David leaving for heaven so early. we are shocked beyond belief -- wish we had known. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Please, please keep in touch. Pat Sweeney-Hanson &Family.

I was honored to know Dave as a friend and co-worker. He was very proud of his family and would often tell entertaining stories about you all. You could see the love he had for you in the pictures and mementos he displayed in his office. He was a highly regarded policeman and will be sorely missed.
My deepest sympathies and prayers are with you.

Cathy Denissoff, retired CPD Forensic Lab

I had the pleasure of working with Dave in Crimestoppers for a couple of years before I retired. He was a good man, a good officer and a credit to the Police Department.
Please accept my deepest sympathy.

We were having trouble with riff raff selling counterfeit compact discs & videos. He went all over the city to clear the streets of them time after time. Even tho I know this wasn't a high priority for the Cleve PD, he helped a lot of small store owners by clearing out the illegit people that were stealing their customers. Great all around guy. An honor to...
