Not sure what to say?

Today 5-7-23, I came across an old calendar of mine from 1990 and saw Dr. Sarrett listed under my addresses. I know he was just a GYN to me and not a family member and I feel pretty certain you may never read this but, if you do, I just want it known that I really appreciated and respected this man. He had a gentle bedside manner and sweetness about him I will never forget. I have never had another GYN of his caliber again! I am so sorry you lost him. He must have been so loved!!

Hi, my grandmother carol nowak. He was "my doctor" when I was born at Virginia Beach General Hospital. He would come and check in on me even i was not the his patient. I thought you would like to know that. Im sorry about your lost and well be send positive energy your way.

Dr. Sarrett will always hold a special place in our hearts and memory as he delivered our daughter, Jenny Sue, in 1970. His children also attended the elementary school where my husband was Principal. He also helped my husband once with a health problem that came under the topic of "men's health"! Dr. Sarrett got a big laugh that day! We will always remember him with love and thankfulness for his friendship.

I was so saddened to hear of David´s passing. I´ve lost a wonderful friend, doctor and employer. He will truly be missed by the innumerable lives he´s touched throughout the years. God´s Peace.

I am so saddened to hear the news. He was a great surgeon and great human being. I had the pleasure of working beside him at VBOG and had tremendous respect. What I will miss most is his wonderful sense of humor. All my love to Helen and the family
