Not sure what to say?

David was a great friend growing up on East Ave. We played a lot of sports together and I fondly remember our fun times together. We moved away in 1956 and returned for a visit in around 61. We returned to "Down Back" for a fun game of baseball. I wish I could of enjoyed playing for BHH with him. I know this has been awhile but our hearts go out to you and know he is missed ...Danny Kinkle

Denise, my heart goes out to you and your family. I don't read the News anymore and a friend told me of Dave's passing about two weeks afterwards. Needless to say, I was shocked and so upset for missing his viewing. I'm so sorry! I sit sometimes and think of the those who I worked with, and admired over the years at the Bridgeton Evening News and remember how we all joked, laugh, argued, and somehow got the paper out prior to deadline, sometimes. May God be with you and your family.

Denise, You know that Brian and I will always be there for you. I will miss our card and casino buddy. I am sure that he is hitting it big up there.I will always remember Dave for his happiness. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word to say for everyone.

Denise,

I am very sorry for your loss. I have prayed that you will find strength and comfort from memories, friends, and family during this difficult time of grieving.

I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Love,
Cousin Stacey

Denise and family, you have my deepest sympathies. I know Denise through Jim's Lunch and I played sports with her brothers:Frank and Mike. I know Dave from years ago when we were both kids, playing at Johnson's Reeves playground. I also new him from Little League and Babe Ruth. He was a few years older than me, and he was somewhat of oddity, that he wore glasses but was a great athlete. This was quite an inspiration to a geeky kid of 10. Even then, he was a great guy.

Denise,

We are very sad to hear about the loss of Dave. We'll miss him and his sense of humor. Our hearts are with you.

To Dave and his family: I was shocked to hear of his death, and will always remember his droll sense of humor and underlying kind heart during the many years we old folks worked for the News, in Bridgeton. Kay Rudderow-Myers
