Not sure what to say?

Best Man to have ever walked this earth. He was so unique and just had so many special things about him Finbarr had such a loving family and that is really what is important. Everyone in Westwood knew who he was. From baseball games, to football games, to having dinner at finnigeans or the rolling pin cafe he was always to happy

Uncle Finbarr was always the comedian at a Saunders clan gathering. I am sure there were smiles and much laughter when he was greeted at the gates of heaven. He spread a lot of joy in his lifetime. Love, Donna (Finbarr's niece and goddaughter)

I still remember playing softball with your Dad on what was a terrible Westwood Swim Club team. But, win or lose, we always had a fun time, and your Dad's great sense of humor was a big part our fun Sunday morning games. After we put our playing careers on permanent hold, I would see your Dad on his neighborhood walks and daily stops a The Rolling Pin Cafe. He'll be missed by all who knew him.

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

Tom Labant (brother of Helen Saunders)

I had the privilege of being in Finbarr's presence for a span of time while he was in Connecticut, and even though that time was relatively short, I will treasure it for the rest of my life. Every time I sat with him he filled my heart with his humor, wit, openness and love. He embraced whatever the moment brought him and took things with grace and acceptance. It was an honor to witness the love and devotion between Finbarr and his children - all families should be so blessed. I know he is...

I am sorry for your loss. As Scott said Finbarr was a funny man. I will always remember him with a smile on his face and knew that a party would not start untill he arrived.. It was always a joy to see him. Take care. Larry Madden, Hauppauge, NY

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Finbarr was truly a great man and he will be missed.

Although we only met Finbarr Sr. several times, it was apparent how proud he was of his entire family especially his grandchildren. It was great to have the opportunity to sit next to him and listen to his stories while watching little Finbarr and Michael play baseball. He was truly a genuine person and angel. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your families during this difficult time. (The McDermott's, Park Place, Westwood, NJ)

So sorry for your loss. Finbarr was an attentive grandfather, a fixture at many games down through the years. He's got the best seat for every game now. You and your families are in our thoughts and prayers.
