Not sure what to say?

Very sad to hear Dr. Savitz passed away. He saved my life by helping me quit smoking 25 years ago. Still think of him - grateful. J Gibbons - Seattle, WA

Thinking of your David and remembering what a kind gentle man he was. truly, Linda and Mitch

I'm very sorry to learn of Dr. Savitz' passing last year. He was my PCP for 22 years. I very much enjoyed our visits, his personality and care to the point that I continued as a patient for 20 years after leaving the city.

At this late date I have just learned of the passing of David Savitz. Our chief of medicine, Dr Howard Hiatt wanted to improve the medical care in the neighboring Roxbury community. David and I were the first Beth Israel physicians assigned to the outpatient facility in Roxbury. I just found out about the loss of Dr. David Savitz. He was my first PCP when I joined the workforce in the 1990s. He was a good man, with an impeccable bedside manor. His unique upbringing, mixed with formal education, will never again be repeated in this world of ours. And with all his heavy case...

Dr. David Savitz was a good man. He was our doctor, kind, funny and full of life. I used to get excited when I have an appointment to see him. I cried the day he told my he was retiring and cried the day my now Doctor Cindy Levine told me of his passing.
May god bless his soul.
Our condolences to his family.

Excellent physician and a greater human being. Bless his soul. Condolences to the family.

David lived next door to me when we were freshmen at Harvard. His roommate was Sol Solomon. David was one of the most decent people I have ever known -- and also one of the brightest. Dick Dixon
