Not sure what to say?

It was just the other day that I told a story about Dave. He would tell me the only reason I was able to afford to be retired was "all he the free cloths I got at Menards and MSU football games". Dave had a great sense of humor that I and many others appreciated. We miss you Dave. You were a great friend.

Over the past year there have been many times, when it just didn't seem right not having Dave there to bring joy and humor to our lives . He helped make so many occasions special. I miss my favorite Spartan.

I am very sad to hear of David's passing. I was fortunate enough to meet David through golf league at Shanty Creek. I always enjoyed his comradery and pleasant nature. We shared a bond through teaching, coaching, and as principals. He had many meaningful anecdotes and great wisdom that I am grateful he shared. I will miss him very much.

Very sad to hear of Mr.Sawyers passing. He was a great man and impacted my life tremendously at MCHS.. May He Rest peacefully on that High Mountain.

Every year we suit up, I remember the Snow Mobile Safety Class he taught.
I just couldn't understand what was so special about the frost on the trees; we always had frost on our trees at home. Seems we lived on a lake with a flowing stream going into it all year. Oh, Open Water!

Mary, Karen, Scott and families. We are so sorry of Dave's passing and the suffering you all had. RIP Dave and we hope you all will be comforted in the difficult days ahead.

RIP Mr Sawyer. Love, Peace and Prayers to Mary and Family. You were a great man.
