I remember being at least partly in charge of "the little kids" one summer afternoon. It was time for the dreaded afternoon nap. I chased David down the driveway and almost caught him until to my dismay, he turned north and started running up Route 11. Thinking it best not to have my mother´s number 3 and number 6 born seriously injured, I gave up the chase. David was gifted with speed; I don´t think any of us could catch him. May you Rest In Peace David. I will always remember your dry humor...

Thank you for taking me fishing in Shushan when I was a kid Uncle David. I´ll never forget you pulling me out of the river after I argued to my mom "I won´t fall in"! I´ll also never forget your laugh during that soaking wet walk back to the house. I´m glad you were there to pull me out. I´ll do my best to keep the tradition alive with my nieces and nephews.
