Dear Scherer Family, I have known David and his greater family since growing up in Marcellus. We did church together for years. Dave and his brother Jack helped and took over the Youth budget duties at church from me years ago. I also meet his wife at the bank in High Point, NC. in the past few years. Small world is it not. I'm saddened by the news of David's passing. My parents were very fond of the Margaret and Jack Scherer, and my father was always so impressed and thrilled to hear David's Bagpipes, (David did us the honor of playing at Dad's memorial service)! Personally, I recollect the very familiar site of the young Scherer boys often walking together on North St, in church, and just "growing up" in Marcellus ... wonderful family, and memories!
