Not sure what to say?

David was the greatest man I have ever known and I will deeply miss the only man in my life who was like a father to me. David made me a better man and a better christian.

Eva...I didn't know of David's transition into heaven until just after Thanksgiving. We all got busy and caught up in our lives the past year and half. I was so sad when I heard. Both of you have been such dear friends of mine. I recall being at your wedding (24 years ago) and watching both of you blend your families in such loving kind way. The yearly updates at Christmas time were always fun to read. David had a special place in my heart because he watched out for me like a big brother...

To David's family,

I feel sorry that I just got to know about David's passing today. For no reason I tried to call him and then sent him an email, afterwards by random searching his updates, since we were out of touch for sometime.

I met David in Xi'an many years back, he was and has always been optimistic, humorous, sincere and kind to people. No doubt he has influenced a lot of people in China including myself, such a great man.

My sincere condolence, and...

I met David in China and greatly appreciated his encouragement and thoughtfulness. My memories of him will always be of kindness and friendship. The world is a better place because of David. May we continue to celebrate David's life in our thoughts and deeds.

Dear Eva -

Debbie and I just learned of David's passing. We are sorry to hear his departure from us but happy for David to be with our Lord. I have many fond memories but truly enjoyed the time I spent with you and David in Xi'an. You were both kind and gracious hosts and David was infinitely patient with my questions, inquiries, and learnings about China and its culture. While David's parting is sad, he leaves many happy and enduring memories from his life. Our condolensces...

To David's family,
David was a wonderful man who was sincere in his efforts to help humanity. We enjoyed a business relationship for over 5 years and it was refreshing and a pleasure to work with him. My condolences to all of you for your lost. He was a good man who tried to be the best he could be. We will miss him.

Eva & family:
I had the very great pleasure to meet David and work with him in China several times over the last 5 years. He was a wonderful person: warm, funny, thoughtful and intelligent. He was always ready to help others.
I always enjoyed his company and our (unfortunately irregular) correspondence.
I was truly saddened to learn that he has gone. Please accept my most sincere condolences.

Honoring David
I am a new friend, yet within a short time David touched my life with his unconditional acceptance. Much freedom and healing came with this acceptance, which I came to know as David's hallmark touch with people. I will be eternally grateful for the short time we had sharing aspects of life and death. Thank you Eva for generously freeing David and allowing me this time, when his time was so short. I know this unconditional acceptance came also from you. Know that you have...
