David J. "Pete" Schroeder

Al, and son Dave, worked on my Father's Ford 9N tractors 50 years ago.
When I moved to Merton ten years ago it was fitting to renew my acquaintance with Dave. In the last ten years I bought many chain saws, a garden tractor and other stuff from Dave. He was ALWAYS the perfect gentleman, and an honest salesman, and hard working guy. Rest in Peace, Dave!

Dear Cheryl and Family,

I just today became aware of Dave's passing. As a child I visited the dealership with my father who was a Simplicity executive. As a young Adult I first began doing business with Al and then with Dave after Al's passing. The acorn did not fall far from the tree. Dave had the same stature and booming voice as his father. The entire team at Eastbrook Dental was saddened by the loss of David. A great man we all enjoyed visiting with each time he came in. Our prayers go out to the entire family during this very difficult time. David will be missed.

David Schroeder was SUSSEX. Everyone knew him by his thunderis voice , hearty laugh and his fun positive outlook on life. Dave was the second generation of the old guard . Dave told you what he thought ( sorry if it wasn't what you wanted to hear) but if you asked for his opinion he gave it. Loved him for that quality. I am in FL or you bet I would be there to say, Goodbye n when my turn comes I plan to seek him out by his laugh.
