I worked closely with Dave for approx. 5+ years as the Lifeline Manager at St. Joe's back in the 80's and early 90's. He was a godsend to me. He always came in with a smile and happy to help in any way he could. Dave was so good with people. He will be missed greatly. I always enjoyed his enthusiasm. Lois, my heart goes out to you and your family.

My wife Janice and I have fond memories of working with Dave in the St. Joseph Lifeline Program. I first met Dave at work at the Michigan Bell Telephone Company in 1953 and found Dave to be a dedicated, serious, well thought of employee. I know Dave will be terribly missed by his loving wife, Lois and family. Dave was the perfect example of the family man, solid citizen, and Christian. To Dave, Shalom.

Just in case I don't get over to Zion Lutheran church on Thursday, I want to say that I have very fond memories of Dave as a volleyball competitor at the Y, and had a few years of playing with him some. He was intense and talented and did inspire others to excellence. He will be missed by family and friends, I am certain.
