I remember David as a very happy boy growing up. I spent time in the Schultz home during the school years in Neenah and loved Donna and Darrell Sr who were so good to me. Darrell jr.was a classmate and is a lifetime friend. I am so sad about the loss of David from this earth. God's Blessings for your entire family.

David was a good friend in school as well as after. We were in Vintage (swing choir) together. Every time I hear "One Night in Bangkok" I think of his solo. We worked closely together on the school musical Brigadoon, the songs of which I sometimes still sing. Another good memory is thinking of the times we would get together at his basement stereo setup to work on making the ultimate "mix tape." He once taught me his "upside down piano" trick, but I have sadly long since forgotten how to do...

Sending my condolences and prayers for peace to all of Dave's friends and family members. I remember him as a very talented and kind friend in swing choir (and date for my very first high school homecoming dance). Much love to all.

David was my first real boyfriend. We dated for 2 years. I loved him so much, well as much as you can love a boy in junior high. This is very sad news. May he rest in peace and condolences to his family. Good bye sweet David. It was fun making music with you at Shattuck and Armstrong. Keep on singing in heaven ♡

My heart goes out to all of David’s family. These times are tough already - praying you can find comfort and peace in the memories and God’s promise. Though I have not seen David since high school, my trips to the YMCA, his house and bike rides are many. I will pray for all to hold the good memories close. - Sandy (Schneidewend) Callahan
