My condolences to the family. He was my dean at Niles East and I spent more time in his office than I'd like to admit. He never gave up on me and I am so grateful. He touched the lives of so many students and made a positive difference in so many lives.

Mr. Schusteff was my biology teacher in 1977 at Niles West. I learned a lot from him both in and out of the classroom. I considered him a friend and am deeply saddened to hear of his passing away. My condolences to his entire family.

Dean David Schusteff holds a special place in my heart. My senior year, - the year we transferred to Niles North from Niles East, Dean Schusteff appointed himself my personal “home room”/teacher. A great teacher and man. I remember how determined he was to get us to love learning. His passion inspired me to become a teacher myself. I'll always have wonderful memories of him in class, such a special person. I'm really going to miss him.

I send my heartfelt condolences to his family. I am praying that the God of all creation provides them with peace of mind during this difficult time. I am so sorry for your loss.

1973 graduate of East. Dave was my teacher and actually had me motivated to be in his class. I remember his quick wit and sense of humor. RIP

As I only know, Sandy, his wife, but by reading the obituary, I see what a proud Jew, and how he raised his family. His loss is all of the community of Israel.

Dean Schusteff made my high school experience. A great man with a real love for students. May his memory be for a blessing.
