Not sure what to say?

Dave "Gator" in his natural environment, somewhere at a softball tournament. I met Gator when we played softball for Red Robin in the 80´s. We hung out together for many years after our playing days. He became a part of our family, our kids were enamored with him. Unfortunately life sometimes gets in the way. We would reach out to each other occasionally to remind each other of our friendship. The epitome of a ballplayer, I always looked up to him. I´m heart broken that he is gone, I sent him...

Dave, (Gator) So many fond memories with you. What comes to mind is what a solid guy you were with a kind demeanor, a great sense of humor (nvr will forget your joke about chocolate cover dog poop at the Mexican restaurant!), and how you enjoyed hanging out with the kids. We wish you a very fond farewell until we meet up again. Bob, Julie and...

I am so sorry to hear this. Dave and our girls softball team goes way back to early 80´s. We first meet him and his friend Ron as they were watching our practices in the Ruston area. After easy conversations they both became fast friends but Dave was my favorite, just a sweet and kind friend. He had a knack to create smiles and laughter. I am so sorry for your loss. I have thought of him often over the years which always made me smile and the sweet friendship.

I´m saddened to hear of Daves passing. Gator as he was known by myself and many others who played softball with him. I talked with and visited him as often as I could. I will miss my friend!! And as him and I always began or ended our conversations..... CHOMP!!!
