Not sure what to say?

I can't believe it has been 10 years since your passing. I still miss our weekly conversations and your never ending words of encouragement. Know that you are greatly missed by your Vandal family and you will never be forgotten.

My grandpa was a good man, I miss him so much.

My sincere condolences to the family. I always enjoyed being around Mr. Secord and was a friend of Kevin's in High School. Please know that I am keeping you in my prayers Kevin. Sue Aldrich Temple

My condolences to the Secord family. David, you will always be remembered as a devoted coach and teacher. Thanks for all you did for us and MHS. And yes, say Hi to Mac up there.

Dear Family, you have my deepest heartfelt condolences. May God be with you to bring you comfort and peace through this difficult time.-Isaiah 61:2, 25:8

Padres game 2009

I have a lot of memories of grandpa but my favorite is when we went to California for my cousin's wedding. After that we spent almost a week in SanDiego. We went to sports museums & the Braves/Padres game. Even though I didn't get the ball Chipper Jones threw me I did get 3 other ball at that game. It was my favorite game ever & grandpa will be in my heart at every game I play in & every sporting event I watch or go to.

I met David just once, I believe. But they say the measure of a man is his children and loved ones. His daughter Terri is a phenomenal human being, and absolutely one of my favorite people on earth, which tells me a lot about David. I know the loss is heavy for all of you, and I pray that you are each comforted by the long list of happy memories you share.

I've know the Secords for years growing up in the Breckenridge/Wheeler area. They were such nice people. I especially got to know David and Sharon while they lived in St.Louis. They were always busy with the grandchildren; especially, Morgan, Trevor and Elizabeth. I thought very highly of them. My thoughts and prayers go out to them and there.

My prayers go out to Mr. Secords family. What an awesome teacher, coach and mentor. As a student if you were having issues at school, w/class mates or even at home he cared enough to listen, and knew who he could push to excel. He always made sure you felt you had self worth be it in typing, playing sports or just being you. What an all around "GREAT MAN".
