Hey buddy, it's been to years since you've been gone. It is quite hard to still believe. For the short 2 years i knew you, you really made an impact in my life. I will never forget the times when you used to come in the bakery and drive me absolutely crazy for me to put our '$5 brownie' for sample! You were such an amazing person and such a great friend to the people i love most. You are truely missed! There isn't a day that goes by that i don't think of you!

Two friends and I have been Googling for years to find Dave. We four served together at the Army medical center at "Fort Lost-in-the-Woods, Misery" a million years ago (approximately). It is heart-breaking to have the first hit be his obituary. He was the life of whatever group he was in. We spelunked, rappelled, and had a large time. Dave made it easy to forget we were in the armpit of Missouri, an otherwise beautiful state. It sounds like his post-Army days were just as much fun. I am sorry...

Hey man. It been a year and still does not seem real. I find myself talking about you almost everyday as if you were still here but yet the reality of the void you left is still very difficult to deal with. Thank you for the many years of friendship. I love you Dave and will always remember you. God bless.
