David and I were married for several years in the late 60's through the early 70's. We shared some wonderful and special times together. I was so saddened to hear of his passing. He will always have a special place in my heart.

David Shapiro was my painting professor when I attended the University in the 1980's. We have remained friends all these years. He was a wonderful person and a dear friend whom I'll miss all the rest of my days. Shalom old friend...

I remember David many years ago from the old Ale House in Vestal. He painted a portrait of myself which I still have hanging on my wall today. Everyone who has ever seen the painting comments that he did capture a certain look. After reading of David's passing, the painting is more dear to me.
I remember him being a very interesting person.
