I have to say that the Sharp family was a very close knit family. When I was young, Dave and his two brothers William Jr and Harry and their families which included me would gather, seemingly every other weekend at their parent's house in Union for a family gathering which could include Scottish meat pies, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Duncan Donuts and/or a game of pinochle or the Mets on the TV, or maybe some batting practice at the park. I never thought to wonder about the frequent family...
