I miss you Papaw. I know you aren't in pain anymore and that pleases me, but I still miss you. There for a while I had stopped coming up there, but I am glad that before the end, I had come to see you more. I'm glad that you liked your christmas present.. even though you got it on thanksgiving! I sleep with it every night. I wish there was something I could have done. It hurt me to see you in so much pain. Just know that I will be seeing you soon. I love you.

Gina, Sorry to hear about your Dad.Now he's in heaven with your Mom and my Dad looking down here at us.He's no longer in pain. He's happy now to be with your Mom. He really missed her.

I wish I could take your pain away, but you know that only God can do that. Try to think of your happy memories of David and find comfort in knowing that he's no longer in pain. Be thankful that he didn't just sit back and let life pass him by but, that he lived life doing the things he loved with his girls and their families. He's gone to a peaceful place now to finally be with the love of his life, Lucille, his "sweet" Mom and Dad, and Gail. If there's rabbits in heaven...
