Not sure what to say?

To Lori and family:
I am very sorry for the recent loss of David. Sending thoughts and prayers during this sad time in your lives. May David's memory be a blessing.

David Shell, while now a missing link in a grand family, his presence can never be forgotten.

Just found out Sunday, Feb 25th and I am so sorry to hear about David's passing. We go back to Wayside Elementary School and all the way through being neighbors in the Lakelands. My heart goes out to his family. He must have been very strong because I never knew he was ill. We will all remember the many memories and just having know David.

I am very sad to hear about David's passing. David was a very good friend to me for many years from elementary school all the way through high school. We experienced a lot together - we had girlfriends in 5th grade and they were best friends. Then in 12th grade again our girlfriends were best friends and we all went to the prom together. I lost touch with David in my 20s but I was fortunate enough to bump into him at the gym on Rockville Pike in 1999 when we were 30. We caught up and hung out...

David, bottom right. Me, top left.

My heart goes out to the Shell family during such a hard time. So saddened about David's passing. I have nothing but happy and funny memories with David growing up. He was always seconds away from a smile and a laugh. His love of sports and the Caps was so infectious. Rest in Peace, David.

I am sitting here, with tears streaming down my face! Its impossible to wrap my head around this! ONE of OUR BOYS!! All I can see is the two Davids running back-and-forth, between our houses and sometimes getting into trouble ! There are no words to comfort a friend, who has lost their child! All your friends and wonderful family, I know is, and will help you through this , everyone together. I would be there today, except for my living in Florida. Im going to look for some more photos...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Lori and family, Love, peace and prayers to you in memory of David. May his love of life and family be admired in grace and comfort you. xo

I was a friend of David's growing up - from Wayside through Churchill. Mostly I remember his sense of humor and his infectious smile. I was so sad to hear of his death.
