Memorial services will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, June 11, 2011 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for David Shepard, 42, who passed away on June 8, 2011. Deacon Art Bakeler will conduct the funeral services. Mr. Shepard, a resident of Scott, LA, was the son of Robert Shepard of Pheonix, Arizona and the former Elma Lejeune of La Point Noier, Louisiana. He is survived by father, Robert Shepard of Brenham, TX; his son, David Shepard, Jr. of Scott, LA; one sister, Sharon Shepard of Lafayette, LA; one brother, Bryan Shepard and wife Patricia of Crowley, LA; four nephews, Paul, Mark, Matthew and Keith Shepard and one niece, Sedonia Shepard. He was preceded in death by his mother, Elma Lejeune Shepard and one sister, Donna Shepard. The family requests that visiting hours be observed in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers on Saturday from 8:00 am until the time of services in Lafayette.
