I first met Dave when I rented a condo from him then eventually bought it. We became fast friends and remained good friends for the last 20 years. I was truly saddened when I heard of his death. He was such a fighter and was so positive. He had a brilliant mind and I loved hearing his thoughts on things. I will miss him.

He was such a tenacious person! I grew up seeing a parent that had a strong vision for his family. He loved them all dearly. Each of his beautiful children saw a special side of him, and was encouraged. My best friend, Wendy, is such a beautiful apple from his tree: fierce, loving, strategic--so smart yet kind! Each sees a attribute from him. Dave and Cheryl were so much a part of my high school life. I will always look back with the best memories!

Nikki and Bill,
Saddened by the loss of Dad Dave but surely our loss is heaven's gain. Many of us looked up to Dave. He had a way of unpacking a difficult situation and rearranging the facts for clarification. He consistently got to the right answer first. He was always polite and respectful. A real smart guy... and a pretty decent dancer too!
I will miss Dave greatly but consider him as a loyal friend in a better place, above. + + + Larry Crookston

I grew up next door to Dave. The kids in the neighborhood, looked up to Dave. He always had time to toss the baseball or football with us. Funny, what we recall, but we thought it was the coolest thing, he cut us a regulation size home plate, we thought we were in the Major leagues. Dave, thanks for being a great role model and neighbor. You will be missed.
