I think of Dave everyday as I pass by 2 of his photos that I have displayed in my home. It is so wonderful to have a friend that sees the beauty in the simple things around us. Dave and I shared that looking at an old brick wall or terra cotta pot. Things too numerous to mention here. But I know he is seeing a beauty now that I hope to share with him again someday. Here are 2 of his photos some of you might never have seen and now you'll understand we look through artist's eyes.

I just now know why my letter was returned. Dave and I exchanged letters every couple months. We loved talking sports and photography. He was best friends with my husband, Frank Perez, and now they can reminisce together in Heaven. I will continue to display photos Dave took of me & Frank and other moments of lovliness. Oh Dave, how I'll miss you. Maybe now Frank can set you straight on good sports teams. It was your only weakness. Love, Barbara
