Not sure what to say?

Please accept my late condolences and heartfelt thoughts following Dave's passing. I knew him and Sherry and they were wonderful people. Miss them both. George M. Rossi

Dave and I worked together at CSC. Dave was a wonderful friend.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you in the recent passing of your loved one. I am blessed to work with Heather. After reading his obituary, it is easy to see where Heather got her zest for life. Again, our deepest condolences.

Dave was a good friend and fellow member of the Citadel Club of Greater Washington which he reenergized after decades of being inactive. He was a great Citadel Man and will be greatly missed.

To the Sikes family I send my condolences I am so heart broken to hear about the passing of Mr.Sikes he was the sweetest person you could meet I work at the registration desk at Hollings Cancer Center and I looked forward to seeing Mr.Sikes he was always pleasant and always thanked me for checking him in for his appointments. He is truly going to be missed.

From Palmer Boland, first cousin to David:

My father, H.F. Boland and David's mother, "Teddy" were brother and sister. Even though I was born in Charleston, my family moved to Orlando, FL when I was 18 months old. I am now 79. Up until the age of 16, when Mother and Dad would go to Charleston for visits, I would go with them. David and I would play some games or just visit. Aunt Teddy would come to Orlando once in a while with David. David and I would go swimming or to movies...

David was my friend from elementary school till his final days. Always a perfect gentleman, even as a kid. I will miss his friendship

An outstanding member of The Class of 1966, The Citadel. Rest in Peace, friend, Biff Rugh, K'66

We looked forward to Davids updates on CHS Bantams. Reviewing his life shows that finding a more accomplished classmate will be almost impossible. Rest in peace old friend and we wish his family our condolences.
