Not sure what to say?

Dave Silber combined unique qualities of competence, caring, and humility. It was helpful, pleasant, and an honor to work with him. Both he and his wife easily, truly, and generously made us their friends. Our thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

I just today learned of Dave's passing. I had the privilege of working with Dave at Bendix for many years and learned much from him. His work on the aircraft tracking algorithms for TCAS and PRM are still contributing to safer air travel. Dr. Dave was a great engineer, scholar and mentor, and one of the nicest people I've ever known.

Debby and I were very sorry to hear of the passing of Dr. Dave. I met Dave and worked with him for a number of years at Bendix. He made many technical contributions to our various radar and air traffic control projects. He was always a gentleman and took the time to explain his work to his fellow engineers. I have many fond memories of him and can still picture him at his desk at work. He will be sorely missed.

Mrs. Silber, Fran, Gabe, and Harry - I have fond memories of your husband dating back to at least 1963, when we lived a few doors down from your house. My parents and I moved from Randallstown when I was 6-years old (1963), but I can still hear Mr. Silber's voice in my "mind's eye." He was a dear man and remains a fond memory from my childhood. I wanted to let you know that my thoughts are with all of you. Fondly, Christie Domenick Bickelman
