Not sure what to say?

John and I were honored to be David and Audrys friends at First Baptist Norfolk!
We were saddened to hear about David’s passing and we will always cherish his sweet testimony for Christ. We shared many meals at the Church supper on Wednesday evening as well as fellowship with them for breakfast at IHOP
They are indeed a sweet family and we will always treasure our friendship and sweet memories with David and Audrey!

Blessings to your family. Very warm memories flood my mind of our times in youth group and church in general. Love to you from The Torrech family.

A true Servant of Christ! He loved playing tennis and was a human backboard...I NEVER could beat him. In my early years of ministry, Dave was a confidet, encourager, and my Barnabas! RIP knowing we will meet again someday. Audrey, John, Peter, & Paul...you all are in my prayers.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Simmons family in the home going of Dave...he always had the countenance of Christ on his face, and was a true joy to know...we are blessed to have known him here on earth, and look forward to seeing him in the new Jerusalem...
May the Lord comfort Dave's family during this time of "joyful sadness."

I worked at GEICO when David was there. He was a very nice guy. RIP David. God Bless you and your family.

Dave was a smiling face that greeted Betty & I (Charles) on many Sunday Mornings. What great man just to have known him.

Audrey and family,
Mr. Simmons was a humble man who exemplified his desire to live a godly life in Christ. What a privilege to have worked with him. Revelation 14:13 tells us, "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord." I rejoice with you in knowing he's in heaven. With love and prayers. Marny Sanders
