Not sure what to say?

Ich erinnere mich immer gern daran, als Dave 2006 die deutschen Simondets in Perouse besucht hat. Mein herzliches Beileid gilt der ganzen Familie.

My "little" brother Dave, was a combination of law enforcement, social worker, imitation Priest,
scholar, husband, and a loving father. He took great pride in all of these roles. He was one of
such people that I would call fearless...when young, he brought a group of Juvenile offenders
from the "institution" to the cabin , and alone took them in a number of canoes down the Shell
River. I watched with pride, as the flotilla finally arrived, and I started to breathe...

My condolences to the entire family. I was one of the many Dial-a-Ride operators who had the privilege of getting to know Dave in the past 2 years. The many topics of discussions we had always brought a smile to my face. Dave will truly be missed.

Tim,Sean,Pat,Kelly,Michelle: Your Dad was like a big brother to me & I will miss him greatly. Seeing you kids growing up & creating loving, caring families made your Mom & Dad so proud.

My family has never met David but he sounds like a remarkable man. My family and myself would like to send our condolences to his family and friends that he has met in his journey of life. Prayers to all and hold the beautiful memories you have created with David close to your heart. Sending hugs to Michelle, Steve, Elizabeth, Sophia and lots and lots to Gabby!!

A great person in every way.

David was a big part of the Senior Helping Hands Program for several years. When someone was troubled and hurting, I could call David to talk to the person. He truly cared. He will be missed!

I have known Dave for a long time. Although I did not spend a great deal of time with him, whenever I did I enjoyed his company. He was a very easy person to talk to. He always made me feel calm and relaxed around him. I also have seen that he was a very strong person. Rest in Peace Dave. I will miss our chats.

Dad requested that any memorials be sent to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, or the American Cancer Society. Thanks to all who have expressed their sorrow or condolences. It is clear to me that Dad had touched many lives.
