David Slusher

David was one of my Bible Professors and a mentor to me when I attended Cornerstone University back in the late 80s. God richly blessed me with his wisdom, friendship, smile, and personal stories of God´s transformative work in our lives. I remember David today with thanksgiving to God. Praying for the family.

Dave was a positive influence on several of our kids while they attended Freedom Baptist Schools. Our condolences to the Slusher family.

I grieve with you, Jane and Nathan and Adam, because of heaven's gain and our loss. Sam and I did our MDiv degrees together and we schemed (in vain) to work together at Word of Life afterwards, and also tried the same at Cedarville but it never quite worked out. His courage in the face of opposition and illness always amazed me and set a standard of faith. I have very few men in my life who were as selfless, and always others-centered.
