David L. Smith

Thanks for being a great teacher and coach! I am sure you positively impacted many lives over the years.

Mr Smith was an amazing teacher, I was a graduate of 2024 and I had 4 classes with him. These photos are the precious few I have of him and our years together. These photos few I selected of our creative writing class of 4-7 people through the semester, he helped me put windshield wipers on my car, we had a pizza celebration party for fun, a Christmas celebration, and I included a picture of him winning experience in education because one of my creative classmates nominated him (:

Mr. Smith will be deeply missed by every student that ever crossed his path. I am forever grateful to have known him, and to have learned from him. Rest in peace.

Coach Smith saw talent in and inspired his students, both on the track and in the classroom. He will be missed and remembered dearly by his students as, above all, a kind and gentle human being with a love and deep respect for life. Thanks for everything, Coach.
