Not sure what to say?

Dave was generous, very kind. So profane, but you had to love it. I worked with Dave in FMSO from 1974-1978, and I can still see him. He came to visit me in NYC in 1979. He may have been appalled at my living situation, but he didn't say anything. He always made me laugh. I'm really sorry he is gone.

Hi Davey,

We're into October the "birthday month" (although not mine!)and again this year you won't be here to share with us. At times it seems so hard to believe you're gone for over a year, and yet other times it seems like a lifetime. I miss you so much--you left us much too soon.

There are many things that you've missed the past year. Danny is married now, you'd like his wife, Jessie. Michael is with Christine & Tylir and Steven is dating Loni. They are all...

Davey~ Today is the last day for your guestbook.
We are all going to be together today, Meghan's 3rd son's { Brady }Christening and Jason is the Godfather, who would think, it just seems like yesterday that you and I were Jason's Godparents!

I'm going to miss writing ya, but you know you will be in my thoughts and always in my heart.

So I wish you a very happy birthday, just a few more weeks.....

I always high five you when watching the STEELER...

Well Davey it is Marleen and my birthday today and we are spending it together here in Pgh. It is not the same tho- no cards with our age sprawled across the front-no hugs and kisses- no you. Miss you more than I thought I ever would- we all talk about you all the time. Kathy and Gene came up to visit and we went to the rock n" roll hall of fame you would of loved it!!! We said you would of spent all day in there reading ,and taking pictures and just laughing and having a good time. Happy...

Davey~ Today is Marcy and my birthday and like last year it is so sad not getting a card from you with all your "I love you too much" and all your x&o's and can't forget your "Davey money".
I'll be missing your phone call, hearing your voice and "how you doin".
I love hearing Mum tell how when she brought Marcy and I home from the hospital, you said "aw if you was going to get 2 babies couldn't you have gotten 1 boy!"
But you adored us anyway, you were a wonderful big brother,...

Happy early Birthday Davey~
October is "the birthday month"~
Marcy's and Marleen's, yours, Jason's, mine and Sami's!
We will all be thinking of you and wishing you a happy birthday.
Tell Dad to give you a big hug and kiss from me.
God Bless
All my love~
Mom

It broke our hearts to lose you.
You did not go alone,
For part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
Your love is still our guide and though we cannot see you, you're always at our side.
Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.

Very much loved and missed,

Cap'n Cray-zee,
The year came around, and I spent a day bummed. I still find myself waving at people using your trade mark one-off peace sign.
The thing is Dave, you are still making people smile.

Steve "Uncle Spike" Bardowski

God saw you getting tired
When a cure was not to be.
He closed His arms around you
And whispered, "come live with me."
With tearful eyes we watched you suffer
And saw you fade away.
We loved you dearly
We could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
Your hard working hands put to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
He only takes the best.
God will love and keep you.
Until we meet someday
May God grant you...
