Not sure what to say?

I have tried this twice now... my uncle David is my favorite uncle... he was the last in the long line of Sollinger's. He lived his family so much. He was so proud of where he came from and visited Dearborn often. He told stories to the people that live in the house he was raised in. They cherish those memories... were shared birthdays. Even as a child, grandma would tell me he was on the phone and we would share our wishes to one another. I will miss you so much. RIP Uncle David

I met Dave on Feb. 01, 1978, when I was a rookie police officer at The University of Texas at San Antonio Police Department and he was my Sergeant. Over the many years he was my friend, my hunting partner, my mentor and most of all my hero. Dave was always there for me, giving this young man guidance, advise and most of all his time and friendship. We shared many great times over our 40 year association, at work, hunting or just spending time together. Dave was a wonderful and kind...

❣RIP

I will always remember David for his warm smile, kind heart, and geniuinely pleasant and peaceful spirit. He was the kind of guy you ALWAYS wanted to be near. His smile was just contagious. He will be dearly missed, by me and all who loved and knew him. How lucky we were to share a moment in his light!

My heart just goes out to his beautiful family, who have indeed carried forward his idomnitable spirit in life. I send you all my strength and light; and pray that God will take you...

I miss you Daddy
