Dave Somerville made Thomas Jefferson High School a basketball powerhouse in 1959-60.

Condolences to Dave's family. I played basketball with him at Thomas Jefferson High School in Dallas. He was a marvelous role model, and a fabulous person. I am honored to have known him.

Dave was a valued friend and fraternity brother. I shared many tailgates on the boulevard over the years and no one was any more humorous and uplifting, then Dave Sommerville. I watched him play basketball at SMU and will miss his kind and friendly face.
