Not sure what to say?

Wow! I just heard of Dave's passing. I speak of our High School years all the time. For two summers I was basically a Speelhoffer. Dave and I worked summers with Mr. Speelhoffer doing whatever crap work his team did not want to do. But we learned a TON. Then another summer working with Dave and his Uncle at Camp Rainbow. I paid for my first car working there. We got to know each other through wrestling. Then we became quick friends. I visited him once when I was back from the Navy. ...

I just learned about Dave's passing, my heart goes out to his family and friends for your loss. Dave was such a giving, warm, kind hearted person, I'm so sorry to hear he is no longer with us. An extremely hard worker -- I knew him through work mostly but his friendship and willingness to take on projects for many of my family members will always stick in my mind. My thoughts and prayers go out to the many people whose lives he touched. A wonderful man who I am so lucky to have met.

I'm his nephew we went to Saint Pete's as a memory. I loved him very much. I'll never forget him.

To David's family,

He also knew everything about his carpentry business.
