David Wayne Spencer

When our son was struggling with addiction and mental illness, David became his friend and guide. He was an angel of mercy to our entire family. We will be forever grateful for his life-giving kindness.

In high school I enjoyed Explorer Scouts with David. Sounds like David was indeed an explorer extraordinaire as he progressed through life.

In school, David was one of only a few people I felt real friendship from and I am so sorry I didn't run into him while I lived in Helena from 1974 to about 1989. He was very special, for sure, and obviously had a fascinating life. I loved learning more about his experiences!

I have known David for so long, he lived down the street, went to grade School together. Always so full of life and light. I will always remember the laughter and Witt. We have all lost someone very dear and full of adventure and wonder. RIP David
