Never Forgotten ...

Thank You for seeing David´s road sign and flag. First let me tell you I know LCpl Smith´s mom. Haven´t been able to get ahold of her for a while. We still live where David grew up, I have a Beautiful Memorial Garden in his honor. We also have a foundation and give scholarships to students from the 4 Logan County Schools. We have a fund raiser a (poker run) Memorial Ride, each year on the closest Sat. To July 13. This year it´s on July 16. My Goal in Life to to never let David be forgotten.

I was in transit from Camp Lejeune to Chicago, when I saw the "Marine GySgt David S. Spicer Memorial Highway" sign and USMC Flag on Route 33, and finally stopped outside Bellefontaine, last weekend. From the biography I have read, GySgt was from Zanesfield, not far from where LCpL Kevin S. Smith's birth mother in Rushsylvania lives. Kevin was killed in Iraq on 21 March 2005. Next time I see her, I will tell Kevin's mom about GySgt Spicer. I just wanted to let you know that a fellow...

The Memorial Garde

David! The 7th annual Memorial ride is on July 15 th. I'm doing them 1 year at a time. I love having the EOD guys here. I think we show them a good time with good food and drinks. I love hearing stories about you. People come from all over some Ride in cars or trucks. Hope this year is great. I have surgery on Tuesday, so we did not have the blessing this year. Please watch over me I'm really scared.
I hope to visit Abby and Chance in late summer or fall.i try to make it to see them once...

Dear David!!! Another Memorial Day and it will never get any easier. I Love you and Miss you. I should be in Washington reading your name but thing just did not work out. Holly will be reading your name and Michaels, along with 13 others. I will watch on line. The Memorial garden is looking good getting more flowers today. Wish you were here so I could give you a hug.

Hello,
We would like to express our deepest condolences and also let the Spicer Family know that we recently sent Care Packages to American troops in the war zones. Each box carried a dedication sheet that includes the name, service information and a photo of your loved one. We recognize that this is a humble tribute, but we wanted you to know that it is heartfelt and made possible by thousands of like-minded individuals in the youth hockey community and beyond. We will not forget. May...
