Dave was the finest man I have ever known.

He was a brillant engineer, and very, very kind.

He was always questioning what was held as true by others. Which is why, although not raised a Christian, he wanted to know the truth concerning Jesus. He found Chuck Youngbrandt, ( a prophet) and became a very good friend of his. Dave loved Jesus and being a Christian.

So sorry. I first met Dave when I was a student at Marston Junior High School in San Diego. He did a routine on the high bar there. I can still see his perfect landing on the fly away. I was amazed!
