Planning to drive Route 66 after my retirement this summer and happened to notice Borger not far north of the route. Remembering Dave was from Borger I googled his name and up came this obituary. Served with him in E 2/12, 3 Marine Division in 1971. Went through a heck of a typhoon on board ship with Dave. He was a nice guy. Haven't seen or heard from him since early 1972. Hate that he is gone now. May try to dig up some pictures.

We as the Class of 1968 are terribly sadden by both your and our lost of David. I can't think of one Bulldog that didn't love "Stack". We offer our prayers to you his family.

Very sorry for the loss of your love one. May you find comfort in God's love and a measure of peace in Psalm 119:76.

We were part of a VFW motorcycle group going to Big Bend. He was a gentleman, funny, and so nice! The world will miss you sir!! You touched a lot of lives and hearts with your smile. Rest high on that mountain, watch over my parking spot and don't let anyone park there!❤ Julie, my prayers and...
