Levine Chapels Obituary

PSALM 23 The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures; He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul; He guideth me in straight paths for His name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for...

Not sure what to say?

David Stahl was the son of my mother's first cousin and a good friend. There are few people who you meet in life who have the character, warmth and thoughtfulness that David had. I first met him in 1959 when I insisted that Camp Young Judaea send me to him instead of their regular dentist. A friendship grew when Sheila and I visited his mother in Manchester, and David came rushing back from Boston to meet with us in the early 80's. The last time I saw him was 2 years ago when Ron, and I...

Sincere condolences to Dr. Stahl's family. He was one of the most interesting and inspiring people I've ever met. His passing away is a loss for the community that he has built around himself and to all the people he left a mark on. Although our encounter was brief, I am convinced God has him in a better place. In my memories I have him very emotional in his preparations for his granddaughter's weeding in Boston.

To the children I am so sorry to hear about the passing of your father. I worked for him for several years and he was so kind to me and my family. My heart goes out to the children who will miss him very much. bless all of you . Carol Villemure

My deepest sympathy to Davids' family. He will truly be missed.

My condolences to David's family on his passing. David was a man with a beautiful commitment to bettering his community, all his life. His concern for everyone's well-being was always evident. He had a wonderful life. I am happy to have been a small part of it over the last few years.

I have known David almost my entire adult life, and of him before that. He was a friend of my parents, he was their dentist and then mine as well. I always enjoyed our chats while sitting in his dental chair (mostly about music, the arts and his family and mine). In more recent years, we became good friends - seeing each other at TAY, at Federation events, running into each other at the symphony or some other artistic event. We had dinner occasionally, and often talked about going to an a...

This is such sad news. David was Peter's dentist, and a dear friend to us for many years. The Stahl-Machinist connection goes back several generations. Our deepest sympathies go to all of you, his family. A wonderful man: a model of a cultured human being.

I knew David through Norman who was my law partner at Devine for many years. David lived a consequential and engaged life , loved his community and was widely respected and admired. With sympathy, John Broderick

A fine man throughout his long life.
