Not sure what to say?

Dave is my uncle my dad was his older brother. I had not seen uncle Dave since the day he introduced his new fiance, which he did indeed marry. Uncle Dave was our cool uncle. I remember waking one day and finding uncle Dave asleep on our couch. He told my brother Jeff and me all kinds of stories of his time on the Enterprise. We sat and listened absorbing every word. I say. Our cool uncle because to us at the time that's what he was. He kinda looked like Val kilmer in the top gun movie and...

I just found out that Dave passed. Happen to see it on Facebook last night. Have no idea how I missed this very sad News. I had talked to Dave a few times on the phone. My husband also had Parkinson's which he sympathized and advised help I could research. My husband passed away July 2017. I am so sorry and my heart goes out to the family. What a nice, kind man he was.

I met David when I first moved to Roswell in 1982 through working together at Citicorp. We worked together from that point through several job changes and became good friends. I echo those that have stated what a kind and caring man he was. I personally know how devoted he was to his wife and 2 children. He was truly a "critical thinker" in a world where there are so few. May he rest in peace and be welcomed to the Kingdom of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

David and I were friends since kindergarten. He was one of the kindest people I ever knew. I was part of his wedding to Lesia and saw him occasionally over decades. To say he will be missed is an understatement. He made the sun shine a little brighter.

Dave was truly a wonderful person and I will miss him so much. A few of my many cherished memories over the years include witnessing his excitement over finding a rare shell, his joy in researching his family history, his enthusiasm in catching beads for Lesia at the Mardi Gras Parade, his elation over the births of his grandchildren, his deep love and devotion for Lesia, and his love for the Regency and Navarre Beach. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

An enormous loss to all of us that knew David. My sympathy to the family.

Dave was such a great guy. He was one of the 1st residents we met @ Antebellum. He was very kind to my mom and very witty and fun to talk to. So devoted to Lesia. He is already greatly missed !
So sorry to you all for your loss.

Sending my prayers and and deepest condolence to the family.

Dave was such a special man, a special friend. We admired the way he continued to stroll through life, battling when he needed to, but never giving in to his illness. Loved his wit - he always made us laugh. We will miss him terribly but will always remember Lesia and Dave walking the beach, collecting shells on beautiful Navarre Beach. You are all in our hearts and prayers.
