Not sure what to say?

The world has lost a kind and gentle soul.
Goodbye David.
My deepest sympathy to Tish and Jimmy.

My deepest sympathy to the family of David Stanton for his untimely passing. What a great career he had. Like all teachers, he touched many lives in a positive way. The music he conducted with the Palos Verdes Symphonic Band was challenging for the players and entertaining for the audience. All of us in the concert going community loved him for his contributions and will miss him greatly.

My sincere condolences to the family in this too-soon loss of David. He was such a good musician and friend, and will be missed so much. His legacy will live on in the PV Symphonic Band.

David Stanton was a wonderful teacher and a very talented musician. I job shared with David for a year while he was in charge of the Cell Program and was able to watch how he made his students so motivated and eager to learn. Our community will miss you.

MY DEAR DAVID

WILL MISS OUR MUSIC MAKING ALONG WITH THE GREAT LAUGHS WE HAD ABOUT THOSE CRAZY MUSICIANS THAT LIVED IN NYC. YOUR MUSIC SPIRIT WILL REMAIN IN MY MEMORIES! TILL WE MEET IN MUSIC HEAVEN.

MAESTRO JOHN E HALL III

I taught with David for several years at William Orr School. He was a kind and thoughtful man and a very good friend. I am very sad to learn of his passing. He will be missed by all.

Dave was a great friend and we had many laughs together. I will always have the memories of our times together. Thank you, Dave, for what your friendship added to my life.

What a wonderful man David Stanton was. His joy of music was obvious, whether playing clarinet with the Palos Verdes Symphonic Band, or eventually becoming the band's director. I am grateful for his presence in the local music scene, for the solo clarinet performances he gave with the band, and the music the band produced under his direction.
