I only found out last year that Dr. Stark had passed away. I've been gone from Monterey a long time. Dr. Stark was my doctor the entire 90s. He was the best doctor I've ever had, to this day. He went out of his way to arrange a special Bay Area visit to a specialist for me. I felt like he was my personal doctor. If I ran into him outside of the office, he made a big deal of it; such a special man. I hoped he would never go away and am very sad (still) about his passing.

David was my dear friend Reva's older brother, so naturally I had a crush on him! When we were all young, he was tall, handsome and very funny. We all went to Los Vegas once and had the time of our lives. David got up on stage and danced with the band,The Firth Dimension! We could not stop laughing! It was a brave move, he was brave, funny and loved his family. I will remember him like that. RIP, Duke, you were like a fireball, a lightening rod and a charming doctor to boot! Much love to your...

I am saddened. Dave and I met at the Olympics in 1984 we were both assistant chief medical officers working for the Olympic committee. As stated Elsewhere and I'm sure at is memorial service. He was bigger than life Appropriately space his nickname Duke. I've visited often, he attended my wedding and I went there once to help them before a hip surgery.
he called us all by different nick names
my favorites were Scotty my boy and Scarpa no work(mine)

I can't believe it has been a year already! I remember David from being Reva's friend from about age 13 and high school and then we lived together in L.A. while we were at college together. I will never forget the time David and his friend Stanley and his other friend came up to Las Vegas on my father's junket and we (Reva and I) flew in from L.A. We all had the time of our lives but it was David who ran up to dance on stage with the 5th Dimension while they were singing, "Up, Up and Away"!...

Just learned of Dr Starks' passing. My heart is saddened on this day. I was a patient of his in 1980-1989 while serving in the military. I am blessed to have known him. He helped me with having a child. Gwendolyn
