David T. Starzyk
(August 03, 1961 - September 21, 2020)
On Monday, September 21, 2020, David T. Starzyk, loving husband, son, father, and Papa passed away.
David was born to Theodore and Gloria Starzyk in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was the beloved husband and best friend of Sally (Schwieder) Starzyk. A loving brother to Debi Starzyk, Donna Lindner (John), and Darren Starzyk (Amy); a beloved father to Nicole Starzyk, Megan (Jerome) Dorhauer, and Natalie Starzyk (Garrett); a loving Papa to Jerome Francis III and Nicholas David, his namesake; a loving brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, and beloved friend to many.
Dave and Sally were married for 35 wonderful years and lived life to the fullest. They met in college, and it was love at first sight. The pair took their wedding vows very seriously and they became one. Their everlasting love remained steadfast in good times and in bad, in sickness and in health. The love Dave had for his family was unmatched.
Dave was a devout Christian who lived his life in the service of others. He was a loving, kind, and compassionate man who lived his life for his family and friends. He never met a stranger. His love, faithfulness, and kind spirit will be remembered by many.
Dave’s passions included spending time with his four girls and two grandsons, coaching various sports (with a side of ice cream after each practice), and golfing with his brother-in-laws. His best bud was his grandson, Rome, with whom he shared a birthday.
Dave attended Rosary High School and eventually went on to UMR (currently Missouri S&T), where he studied Engineering Management and became a founding father for his fraternity, Sigma Chi. Dave dedicated 35 years to Boeing as a Project Manager and made many friendships during his career.
Dave was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Starzyk; his mother-in-law, Theresa Schwieder; his father-in-law, G. Edward Schwieder; and his sister-in-laws, Nancy Baker and Sandy Hampe.
