David Stevenson

Friend and mentor, I couldn't imagine where I would be today without his guidance, wisdom, and friendship. Thank you Dave. Semper-Fi.

I’ve known Dave since my first days at United Radio in 1978, as a deputy, then a Sgt, a Lieutenant and then a Captain of the Sheriffs Dept., and most importantly a friend. He was always quick with a smile, and I enjoyed listening to all of his stories over the years! He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Sincere condolences to his family and large circle of friends, here and in South Carolina.

Dave's passing is a great loss to his family, friends and his neighbors. While we did not quite agree on many issues he never let that stand in the way of our friendship. He was always there for anyone who needed help or his assistance. My sincerest condolences to the family. He will be missed.

I met David about five years ago during a sad time in my life. He became my friend and confident. When I think of him, I can laugh, always a funny text of long phone conversation. I will truly miss his present when I travel to Greenville. My condolences to the family.
